Our Story

Founded in 1976 by Jane E. Canepa, The Eventors, Inc. services clients from coast to coast. The Eventors, Inc. have 45 years in the business, a distinct advantage over other agencies, offering boutique agency care and service coupled with large agency experience and expertise. Because we are a fully integrated small agency, we can offer clients the best of both worlds.  All clients receive the highest level of personalized attention. 

Meet The Team

Jane Canepa
President and Founder

Jane began her career in Chicago at Carson Pirie Scott & Co., where she coordinated international special events and public relations for the flagship State Street store and 16 suburban branch locations.  The Eventors have had international and national clients including 15 years as the U.S. marketing, public relations, promotions, advertising and sales agency for Hilda Ltd., a woolen goods manufacturer based in Reykjavik, Iceland.  Jane is known for her promotion of participatory sporting events held across the United States and in Europe including the JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge, the Chicago Great Pink Run, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and Shamrock Shuffle, the Chicago Triathlon and the Jim Gibbons 5K Run & Walk for the Leukemia Research Foundation. Jane has worked closely with the Mayor’s Office of Special Events and the Chicago Park District, and she spearheaded the creation of the Mayor’s Office of Special Events Sports Council. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College for 28 years, and is also a lifetime member and former president of the Publicity Club of Chicago.

Rozana Audisho
Director of PR & Special Events

Rozanna's innovative ability to harness the power of marketing and public relations to increase the bottom line has made her a sought-after marketing expert. Equipped with 15 years of experience building public relations/marketing campaigns and managing special events, Rozana has developed a vast professional network. She has been working at The Eventors, Inc. serving as the Director of Special Events for over 10 years. Her duties include coordinating special events and public relations campaigns in addition to providing communications consulting services. Rozana has worked in a wide array of industries including financial services, healthcare, credit union movement and the Chicago travel industry. In her most recent role, Rozana served as a marketing specialist for Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union, managing the events, marketing campaigns and promotions of 18 credit union branches across the country. 

Thomas Heeshik Youn
Event Coordinator

Thomas graduated from Columbia College in 2006 with a degree in marketing communications. He has volunteered with many organizations, including Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Shamrock Shuffle, Leukemia Research Foundation, WTTW, and Hospitality & Tourism Summit. Since joining Jane Network in 2017, Thomas has worked with The Great Pink Run Chicago, America’s Beauty Show, and True Value Family Reunion. Thomas also has an administrative support certificate from the Center for Changing Lives in Logan Square and MS Office suite specialist. In 2019 he also received the new poet award from Korean Expatriate Literature. Subsequently, four of his poems were featured in two Korean Expatriate Literature books and two from Cross Cultural Communication book titled “Bridging the Waters III.”

Bruna Jeremias
Jane Network Coordinator

A creative marketing professional, with a degree in marketing and live & performance arts management. At Columbia she was able to bloom her passion and creativity for design and out-of-the-box solutions that would give companies a personality and better way to serve the community. So far in her career path she has executed entire  marketing campaigns, logos and website designs and social media campaigns, and worked as team and project manager.  Beyond her professional passions, Bruna loves walking and listening to music, and volunteers for non-profits and events such as “The Bank of America Chicago Marathon” and "The Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade." Currently, she is dedicating her time freelancing, specializing her art design abilities and diving into copywriting. Bruna and Jane have being collaborating since 2015, and recently Bruna has become coordinator of "The Jane Network," an organic talent pool that connects all Jane Canepa's connections to each other.
